Cadet

Cadet was adopted from the Town of Hempstead at about one year old on 3/18/04 and though we only had about 10 blocks to drive home, he had an accident in my car before we arrived. The next day, enroute to a groomer for a flea & tick bath, he had one accident in the car going over and another from the opposite end coming back. I thought about going right back to the pound with him. By the grace of God I didn’t and for the next 16 of his 17 years on earth he was the gentlest, sweetest, and most easily trained pet one could ask for. His passing leaves a void in my life that will never be completely filled.
