I met Leo at our corner grocery store in 2004. The owners offered me the opportunity to adopt him after seeing the affection Leo and I had towards one another. My wife and I agreed and he became a part of our family for 11 years. Shortly after adopting him we added Sushi to the family and she and Leo were inseparable when they were not arguing like brothers and sisters do. His passing in 2015 was hard but the years of love we shared will never be forgotten.
